Introduction	As an Ambassador for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area (BBBSNCA), I will be collaborating with them to recruit mentors to change the odds for high-risk children and to actively promote and highlight their efforts across the State of Maryland and the region. As the past President of the Upper Marlboro Boys & Girls Club (MBGC), I worked to further their mission of inspiring and encouraging young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. I have served as the team Mentor, College Recruiting Advisor and Administrator for Bishop McNamara Track & Field Team for the past five years with over 2,000 hours of community service in developing and guiding the young women on the team. I founded The"D.A.R.E. to Dream Organization "- Developing an Achievable Road to Excellence - which now provides mentoring support and leadership skills to over 20 young ladies ranging from age 13 to 22 years old. The organization focuses on developing mentees to explore, empower and engage themselves to achieve their inner greatness.
