Fred Leeb was appointed by the Governor to be the Emergency Financial Manager for Pontiac for 15 months until 6/30/10. He lead the city to two years of surplus after many years of deficits, upgraded the City’s bond rating, negotiated successfully with six unions and generated over $115MM in multiyear benefits. *** He specializes in advising and conducting successful nonprofit turnarounds and has been the head of the Nonprofit Management Group, LLC for 17 years. *** Fred won the Turnaround of the Year Award in 2008 from the Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”). *** Fred has worked on numerous small and medium-sized local businesses. *** Fred’s consulting career also has included PriceWaterhouseCoopers and AlixPartners, two of the most successful firms in the country. *** He has an MBA from Wharton. |
