Introduction	The SpiritMatters began as a monthly newsletter from the Pastoral Care Department of a small community hospital in the Greater New York City area. The monthly pastoral letter began to be passed from person to person and gained a following far beyond the hospital community itself. The monthly letter is now published here online, along with other posts and reflections from me. While my perspective is that of a more or less liberal Anglo-Catholic priest, it is my hope that readers of all faiths will find this blog meaningful and encouraging.
