Introduction	I worked as a newspaper journalist for many years before retraining as a yoga teacher. However I returned to writing with the publication of my first book West Over the Waves in 2009. Since then I've been working as an editor and publicist and in 2013 I started the children's publishing company Curly Tale Books with my friend and fellow writer/illustrator Shalla Gray. I am the author of a second non fiction book, Mary Timney, The Road to the Gallows and the children's book The Belties of CurleyWee Farm. Look out for a new Beltie adventure in 2014 along with a great book about lighthouses.
Interests	Yoga, reading, writing, eating, knitting, sewing, drinking tea and eating cake, baking, music, theatre, galleries, talking.
