| Introduction | I live with my husband, two adorable doxies, one very large dobie, and a sneaky cat in rural Illinois. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2010 with a Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. Currently, as a clinican, I work with adolescents at a chemical dependency residential treatment facility in Illinois. Along with my case load and other duties, I conduct art therapy sessions. I am grateful for the opportunity to help clients work through personal issues as they recover from addiction. I enjoy working with a variety of art media, but am especially drawn to fibers. My own art making revolves around self discovery, awareness, and having fun. This blog serves as one of my creative outlets. It is my hope that others will be inspired to create after viewing it. |
