About me

Location Roseburg, Oregon, United States
Introduction My career was spent working for the Forest Service on the Umpqua National in Oregon. My husband too is ill, so we joke that between us, we make a whole person. We watch people arrive at an RV park at 10:00 p.m. and see them leave at dawn. There is no way we could do that anymore... and it's ok. We try to keep our travel days to less than 150 miles before stopping for a few days or longer to rest and poke around an area to see the sights. We make the most of what we have and in a weird sort of way, embrace our new and slower way of life. We see things that we would have missed back when we were healthy. We explore towns we would never have taken the time to stop in and find that though we have lost much, we have also gained a great deal. We live our life knowing that time together is something we probably don't have in abundance. Because of this, we don't waste this precious gift called life on petty arguments and a grievances. We love each other and look after each other. Despite all that has thrown our way and all we have lost, life is good. The world truly is a beautiful place. And despite what you hear, most people are good at heart.
