| Introduction | I am a first generation Igorot, who was born in Bauko (Mountain Province), Philippines and immigrated to America at the age of four. My parents are from the Mountain Province, Philippines (Guinzadan and Otucan). I wish to inspire others for the greater good through my writing while promoting my Igorot heritage. Many Filipinos are "familiar" with us Igorots, but there's an entire world who knows little or nothing about us. I hope to help change this so that Igorots are not only "known", but "respected" as well. |
