Gender Female
Location South Porcupine, Ontario, Canada
Introduction I am constantly amazed by birds and always learning about them. I live in the South Porcupine/Timmins area, in northeastern Ontario's district of Cochrane. My home is located on the traditional Lands of many Indigenous Nations including Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation, Matachewan First Nation, and home to many Ojibway, Cree, Oji-Cree, Algonquin, and Métis People. Here, we are all part of the James Bay Treaty territory (Treaty 9), a vast region home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people living in harmonious relationships with the land. I am a member of Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO), one of the Regional Coordinators for the third Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas, and a compiler for the Timmins Christmas Bird Count.
