Introduction	I started this blog as a way to consolidate email updates that I have been writing since 2003 when I started rowing competitively on the National Team. Here you will find many stories about the ups and downs of training, competition and most importantly personal growth through the sport of rowing. I started rowing in the fall of 2001 and by spring of 2003 was moving to London, Ontario to train with and try out for the Canadian National Rowing Team. Since then, I have competed for Canada at World Cups, World Championships and the Olympic Games in both sculling and sweeping. I now have my sights set on the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. As with my emails from the last four years, I would like to ask for your respect with this blog. I tend to write what I am going through, feeling and thinking and I intend it for certain eyes/ears only. I have invited you to this blog to join me in my journey. I ask that you respect my need to keep the viewing of this blog to people, like yourself, who are close to me.
