| Introduction | My Background: Female, 30, married, residing in Ontario, Canada. In 2008 I graduated from York University (with a bachelor of education). In late 2010 I used my savings to buy, and move into my 4 bedroom home with my husband. In the last few years I have managed to get out of debt and am headed towards creating a nice portfolio which will hopefully set me up well for the possibility of expanding my family or heading towards an early retirement (cross my fingers age 45) while having fun and still enjoying life. |
| Interests | My Strategy: I have a typical income for a teacher, and my expenses are also quite typical. My husband and I enjoy life though and we have found different ways of doing this pretty inexpensively. I believe that an average person can make good choices in their life and make enough to retire early and happily. In order to do this, I am of the strict belief that you can’t be lazy with your money. Eventually I plan to reach financial freedom, which means I’ll have enough income generated from just my investments to live a comfortable lifestyle. |
