| Introduction | I was a Nevada State Assemblyman. During the 2007 session I quickly set myself apart from the average politician because I proved I could not be bought. Far too many people in this job live from campaign contribution to campaign contribution. This makes them open to an ever-increasing lack of moral fiber. Because of my stand, I was nominated to the JFK Profiles in Courage Award. As far as I know, I am the only freshman legislator of my party to ever have that happen. |
