Introduction I started out my career as an Accountant, working in large corporations in South Africa. With the advent of desktop computing, I managed the migration of accounting systems to automated environments and took a position with a fledging logistics outfit that had a growth need. I worked my way through the management ranks from finance and IT&S, through warehousing and distribution, and up to general manager. I ultimately chose to manage corporate change, and started my own consultancy. I was the catalyst for new strategic directions in small, medium and large companies. Working in this dynamic environment has taken me to the four corners of the globe and has availed me of the opportunity to lecture at a number of business schools. My disciplines are business (domestic and international), policy and strategy, logistics and operations, TQM, finance, information technology and the people management sciences. I am married to the perfect wife, Carol who is pursuing her bachelor's in Fine Arts, and have two great children - Shelley (28) who has her Master’s in Library and Information Science, and Rowan (24) with his Bachelor’s in Justice Studies, both from Kent.
Interests Hobbies: Saltwater Rock and Surf Angling Domestic and International Travel Computing and my Family.
