| Introduction | Kelly is one of the team authors of this blog but this blog is not about her, it is about the library. Howard Colman Library is situated "at the heart" of the Rockford College campus and serves the information and research needs of our students and faculty. Colman houses a book collection of approximately 130,000 volumes and subscribes to about 200 print periodicals and numerous databases. Colman is a "wi-fi zone"; as in other campus buildings, students may access the Internet and library databases wirelessly anywhere in the building via personal laptops equipped with wi-fi cards.
