| Introduction | I'm a big hockey fan, and an Oilers fan in particular. Living in Calgary has obvious disadvantages in this regard, but some advantages as well (I don't have to listen to the Edmonton MSM pump out their normal crap!) I'm also a low single digit handicap, and golf whenever I can. My other passion would be travel - especially if it's to escape this inhumane climate. I grew up in Grande Prairie, and spent many years in the Oilfields of Western Canada (I have driven every lease road from Norman Wells to Pincher Creek). I gave it all up for the cushy desk job and the sweet sorrow of married life here in Calgary. Some days, though, it would be nice to be back on the road :) |
