| Introduction | I am full of bits and pieces that I have picked up from here and there - the habit of wanting to feel unique from my college days, the love of books from my friends, my sense of morality from the books I have read, the penchant for news from my father, the desire to travel from television....there is no real unity. The pieces do not fit together and no piece is indispensable. I keep wondering if I can ever find something that would give an apparent unity to all these impulses. |
