| Introduction | Randy is a dreamer, a 'hilaw na pilosopo' (wannabe philospher), and a junkie for stimuli. Born in the Philippines, he moved to Canada in 1997. For nearly a full decade, he was unable to visit his motherland. Not even for a brief period. Summer of 2006 he made a vow to himself that nearly a decade long absence was too long and promised that he needed to visit and stay for an extended amount of time. November of that same year he fulfilled that vow by embarking on a trip that lasted to Mid April '07. This is that story. |
