| Introduction | This blog is an attempt to streamline my weekly e-mails to my Pre-K families. Each week I send an e-mail reflecting on all we've done and learned in class. In large part, this e-mail has become a way for me to reflect, process and modify future lesson plans. My dear friend, Molly, who is also a teacher and a great listener, suggested that my musings might be a bit much for my busy multi-tasking families who need the nuts and bolts information of being a partner in their children's learning. Still, I know that many of "my" moms and dads like to read of their brilliant children's discoveries and experiences... So, this is for all those who want the long and winding version of my time spent with 11 amazing children who constantly astound me with their genius, creativity, kindess and spirit! Oh... that cute guy next to me in the picture above is my hubby... he works really hard so I can teach Pre-K and still buy groceries for our own three boys! :) |
