| Introduction | All my past writings were short stories from two pages to perhaps thirty. Twelve years ago, a friend made a website for me and I posted many of them. That went by the wayside eventually. Since then I have directed much of my writing toward my 9 to 5 job, creating descriptions of our products, advertisements, media profiles and provide consultation on how to use the products. About a year ago, I felt strongly to do more with my writing, something more than a pamphlet of instructions. I began reading book after book in the Historical Romance genre to get the feel for the era and the type of story that affected me the most. Like all my creative ventures, I did not have a precise pattern; I just waded right into the deep end. At this point, I have plotted a course for my story and my characters have grown and developed in my imagination. My ambition is to allow you, the reader, to enjoy the story, imagining these characters and to be stirred by their personalities as vividly and deeply as I am. I hope you will follow my progress through writing this story. The working title for it is simply, 'Regency'. |
