| Introduction | I am a Independent PR Consultant who has an extensive background in public relations, marketing,newspaper and magazine advertising, sales and human resources. I am the Principal/Founder of VMS Communications, a PR and Diversity Marketing company. I hold a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master's degree in Cross Cultural Studies from the University of Houston Clear Lake. I serve on the Executive Board of the National Black MBA Association-Houston Chapter as the PR Co-Chair, Board Member of the YMCA of Greater Houston, and member of the National Sales Network, Public Relations Society of America and Black PR Society of America. I am single with no children of my own but I do have approx 24 nieces and nephews (lost count after 20 and there is always one on the way!). My favorite hobbies are reading and writing. |
