Gender Male
Occupation Deer Breeder
Location Sicily Island, LA, United States
Introduction My wife, Annette, and I got married in 1975. We have one grown daughter living in Amarillo, TX. I graduated from West Texas A & M University with a bachelors in Biology-Wildlife Science. I did research for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service on deer behavior for two masters degrees. We started Daddyo Adventures as a parent company. Our daughter asked me once what I wanted our grandchildren to call me. We still don't have grandchildren Chrissy! But, never one to be accused of being a conformist I wanted to be called something different. So, I chose Daddyo. You can go to our website www.daddyoadventures.com for more information about our adventures but the name Daddyo and our love for adventure gave us the name Daddyo Adventures. I've served in numerous capacities on boards as a volunteer for service to my peers. Boards such as the Louisiana Cattleman's Asso., Point Coupee Electric Co-op, President of the Wildlife Club at my university, etc. I started this blog to help others and myself learn more about white-tailed deer health and nutrition. I hope my service to my peers will benefit you as much as I know it will benefit me.
Interests Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Hiking, Reading, Any outdoor activity
Favorite Movies I don't really have a favorite. I like action movies, comedies, documentaries, dramas, and even some chick flicks.
Favorite Music If I had to pick one genre of music it would be Classic Rock. If I had to pick one musician it would be Jimi Hendrix. I like almost any kind of music. I'm not crazy about heavy metal, punk rock, or rap but I even have some of those collections. I have collections of Etta James, Nina Simone, Keb Mo, The Eagles, Jimi, Willie Nelson, Howie Day, Snoop Dog, a huge range of genres.
Favorite Books Again, it's hard to pick a favorite. I guess for me though it would have to be the Bible. I've read hundreds of westerns but the Bible gives us a code to live by that even the Wild West can't live up to.
