Introduction	I'm a Maui artist/t-shirt designer & painter who loves to design in Illustrator and Photoshop as well. I have presented 14 designs for silk screening in Hawaii and will share with you how I created over fifty designs in two weeks. I became an RN in 1989 and worked in Medical-Surgical areas as well as the emergency room at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield for over four years. In Hawaii I traveled to outer islands working in hospitals throughout the state. It was a wonderful experience and finally I had the opportunity to work in a rural setting in Hana, Maui as RN and Nurse manager for Hana Community Health Center for two & a half years. Since then I have written three books with a Hawaiian theme to inspire happiness through cooking, gardening and art.
