Introduction	I am a single mother of one who has an ever-growing...but some days wavering...passion for Christ, my daughter, my family, singing, teaching kids, flower gardening, finding a "steal of a deal", decorating, repurposing and (almost!) all things vintage and antique. I love a variety of things, such as reading, coffee, relaxing by & in the lake, campfires, garage sales and thrift stores; so this blog is about whatever I feel like posting on any given day! =) The name for my blog, "Sowing Seeds of Old and New" quickly came to mind. I am constantly thinking of the "seeds" I am am planting in my daughter's mind and heart (Do you know the parable in the Bible about sowing seeds?), and also, I am very fond of the following quote by Robert Louis Stevenson~ "Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant." Happy reading!
