Introduction	I am a blogging/cooking/photographing novice, just here for the fun! This all started when I made a new year's resolution for 2011: try at least one new recipe every week. I had lots of alone time in the evenings so I thought, What better time to experiment with food than when no one's home to witness the impending disaster? All kidding aside, I'm very excited to start growing some culinary muscles. And since I'm known for starting fun projects but not always following through, I decided to share my resolution with my family as a means of accountability. My sister, ever the encourager, asked me to please take photos of what I make each week and post them on my blog. So thanks to her genius, y'all get to witness the disasters after all. Ah, well...ya win some, ya lose some! So welcome to my journey! I've since dropped the once-a-week expectation, but I hope you still enjoy the ride--just make sure to keep your knives and forks inside the vehicle at all times. ;^}
