Introduction	As a young girl, I stood beside the sewing machine, watching my Mother and Grandmothers sew clothing for me, and my sisters and brothers. This is where I got my start, and at about age 10, my own sewing expedition began as I made simple dresses and occasionally a hat or head bandana to match. From there it was sewing my entire wardrobe, including my Senior Prom formal gown. Sewing is a wonderful skill to learn, and I hope our younger generations will take the challenge and sew. I learned to cook standing beside the kitchen stove watching my Mother and Grandmothers as they cooked and baked with lot's of love. Now and then I will share photos of my 3 Yorkies and maybe a good recipe or two.
Interests	I enjoy sewing, machine embroidery, knitting, cooking, reading, exploring new places, my 3 Yorkies,and family and friends.
Favorite movies	All time favorites are Giant, Gone With the Wind, North and South, Ghost, The Thomas Crowne Affair
Favorite music	I enjoy most music. When I get ready to sew, I put on a couple of "spa" CD's. They are relaxing and indicate to me that "it is time to sew".
Favorite books	The Patricia Cornwell Scarpetta series, Kathy Reich's works, sewing and cooking publications.
