| Introduction | I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1983 with a BFA/Painting. Soon thereafter I briefly studied traditional Chinese painting with Shiou-ping Liao, a contemporary Taiwanese artist living in the states at that time. It was this experience, along with my long-time love of Japanese woodblock prints (ukiyo-e) that has inspired my work since that time. |
