| Introduction | I am a freely wandering soul, a homeless mind, a pure spirit, committed to articulating liberal, progressive and critical voices in the realm of religion and related fields within the cultural context of modern Indonesia. I have a doctorate in historical Jesus research; but my academic expertise covers broader fields: Christian origins, New Testament documents, extracanonical writings, theology of religions, philosophy, cultural studies and sociology. Although I was raised in two religious traditions, I incline to take the position of a rationalist and antidogmatic freethinker. After understanding and knowing me rightly, hopefully you will see the world and yourself in a different way.
