Introduction	I am a true independent. I vote for the person, not the party. I actually listen to both sides of an issue, read up on the subject and make my mind up based on how it will effect me and my family. I do not just pick a TV station and listen to the talking heads and buy into their version of an issue and take it as gospel. If someone put a gun to my head and told me I had to pick a party to define my self, it would probably be the Libertarian Party. I believe in small government, lower taxes, less government spending, and much less government intrusion into our lives. The nanny state has gotten ridiculous and I live in one of the worst nanny states in America, Washington State.
