| Introduction | Gardner Turfgrass was started in 1969 in Colorado, with just one farm. From there, Gardner Turfgrass has become sod and seed experts focusing on the Sun Belt region and drought resistant grasses. We have now grown to have sod farms in McIntosh New Mexico, Santa Teresa, New Mexico and our newest location Wiggins, Colorado. Gardner Turfgrass is also the only sod and seed company to have two of its owners, Al and his son Stan, serve as president of the Turf Producers International Association, an honor that our peers in the industry had elected them to. Another achievement due to our diligence is that Gardner Turfgrass was the first turfgrass company invited to sit on the U.S. Department of Agricultural Policy Board of the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP). |
