Introduction	My Name is Barend (Barry) Becker. I lived and worked on Macquarie Island for 13 months (between February 2013 and April 2014) Working as a Meteorologist has given me a wonderful opportunity to travel throughout this wonderful country. I have also had the great privilege to work and spend time in Antarctica. My time at Sub-Antarctic base at Macquarie Island was amazing.
