| Introduction | Hello! My name is Renee Thompson, owner of Treasured Sweets. I moved to sunny Orlando almost 15 years ago from a small upstate New York city called Kingston. Kingston has a population of about 25,000 to maybe 30,000 residents which is in between Albany and Poughkeepsie... maybe you have heard of Woodstock? I am the proud mom of 4 children ages 5 to 27 years old with only one left in the nest with me but I'm far from the empty nest syndrome. I started my business which is currently home based in November 2008, personalizing candy bar wrappers for special occasions and events. I had little funding in my budget for advertising so I used my products to advertise my business. After seeing the incredible results I realized I hit on something that I had to share with other business owners. My Edible Business Card was then born the following year. In 2011, I added bottlecap necklaces, 2013 European Bead Bracelets and 2013 Button Bracelets to the mix. I love networking and learning about people and their businesses... so let's see whats new. |
