| Introduction | I am a graudate of the American University of Paris and the Institute Catholique de Paris with a Master of Arts in International Affairs. I lived in the Paris for 8 years with my partner Mikael where we shared a lovely home with our cat Beija. I am originally from North Carolina, but being a military brat I have lived all over the US including Texas, DC, and San Diego. Not being able to stay in one place too long I left my native US to discover foreign lands like Brazil, Egypt, France and now Senegal. Mika has also found a warmer clime and is currently Marrakesh and Beija is luxuriating in the South of France with her aunt. The name of my blog has taken on new meaning as I am officially Franco-American since April 29th 2013 when I received French citizenship. |
| Interests | I love music, whether listening to it or performing. I play piano and sing, though I don't do either very often these days. I love languages, and have attempted to learn several including, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, German, Dutch, Wolof, and hopefully Pulaar. I love traveling which I do as often as I can, and have been to too many places to mention. I love learning, history, politics, science, philosophy. I love friends, and good food, wine and champagne. |
