Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
Whittling with soap - I love to do handwork of various kinds; it is visceral and a great pleasure when something new emerges from the base material - particularly with something like soap (or a block of wood) where you can feel every curve and plane of the new surface.
