Introduction DKG, Mu Chapter, Longmont, Colorado, member since 1990. Service began as chapter committee chair four years and then vice-president and chapter president. State DKG service: Chaired 1997 State convention, Expansion Chair, First Vice-President and 2003-05 State President. International: 2004 Golden Gift Leadership Management recipient, Educator Award Committee and Professional Affairs Committee, Authored and directed Colorado's 2004 Diamond Jubilee moment. Family: 3 sons, a lovely daughter in law, and 4 beautiful grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Patrick and Porter. Education Background: Northwest Missouri State, major: Physical Education, Health. minor: Psychology. B.S. in Integrated Lang.Arts/Soc.Studies, M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction Univ. Northern Colorado. Taught 5 years in Missouri and 32 in Colorado. Coached track, gymnastics, volleyball and sponsored cheerleaders 11 years. Collaborated on Health, Physical Education Curriculum in St. Vrain Valley. Moved to Colorado in 1970. That first winter I skied 21 times! Love Colorado! Currently active in DKG, AAUW, 2 golf leagues, Education Foundation, Longmont Chorale and church choir.
Interests Golf, singing and writing songs, legacy writing, photography, Delta Kappa Gamma, politics and government, Longmont schools and community organizations.
