| Introduction | Welcome to MuddyWaterMama. I am so thankful you have found us here. I am a follower of Jesus, albeit often a floundering one, wife, mommy, physician, and (most recently) author. That last one still seems a little surreal. Adam and I have four precious and precocious children: two of whom shared a womb, one of whom now waits for us in Heaven. I started this blog at the Lord's prompting when my twin boys were just toddlers. At that time my heart was to share the realities of life and the encouragement of scripture with other mamas: the struggles and the joys. In the years since we have added to our family in the form of two sweet girls. Most recently, our youngest daughter, Abigail, passed away at three years young. In that time this blog has become a therapeutic outlet and expression of grief. We do not grieve without hope, but we grieve DEEPLY. We long for the day our family is together again. In the interim, the waiting, I seek to vulnerably share and encourage others who may or may not have experienced deep sorrow. Thank you for walking this broken path with us. |
| Interests | While I'm a working mom with a career in healthcare, 'mommy' is my favorite title. We love family time, mud puddles, puzzles, hide and go seek, snacks, being outside, and books. |
