| Introduction | Steven R. Feldman is an internationally recognized clinical and investigative dermatologist and professor of dermatology, pathology and public health sciences at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He received his medical and graduate degrees from Duke University and completed residencies in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Medical University of South Carolina. He has published more than 150 articles in books and peer-reviewed journals and has been a primary investigator or co-investigator on 33 industry, foundation or federally funded research grants. He is particularly proud of his work on the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation, a patient advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Throughout his clinical and research career, Feldman has been interested in issues related to patient experience in the delivery of medical care and what patients themselves can do to improve their care. Out of that interest he developed the concept for DrScore. |
