| Favorite books | To Kill A Mockingbird by probably remains my favourite book of all time. I've just read Greetings From Bury Road by Sarfraz Manzoor and to gain an amazing insight into what it's like to be British-born of Asian origin I couldn't imagine there's any better recommendation. There's wry humour, poignancy and the lightness of touch that we've come to expect from Sarfraz over the years and it's an excellent read. I couldn't put it down. I love the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell. Incidentally, my cat Harper is named after Sergeant Patrick Harper, Sharpe's loyal and trusted companion throughout everything. |
