| Introduction | I am the grandson of the gentleman who started "Ed's White Front Bar-B-Que". Ed Reinschmidt started the business under that name in 1933 and it was a North St. Louis Institution until it closed in 1979, 46years later. Because my uncle received so many requests for the "Sauce" I began making it as a labor of love and to satisfy the desires of many former customers. I started making the sauce at age 13 and have been using many of the same utensils and the original recipe I learned from my father, Herb Norman.
