| Interests | I graduated from Cal (aka UC Berkeley) in May and have no idea where to go from here. I have a new job which is nice and pays well and is really interesting, although I HATE working all the time. I would like to go to law school one day, but not yet...and yes most days I still believe I can change the world. I am finding joy in rediscovering how great my friends and family are and how much they are there for me. Ive known my best friends since before kintergarden...which means that they are more like my sisters and no one else will ever compare to them!! I love books and reading, and wish I had more time to read. I would love to travel the world one day. I paint..not to say that im good at it. I like yoga and running, although I dont do as much of either as id like to. Honestly, I think life would be a lot better if I had a continuous wine buzz. I have an abnormal fear of curbs and tripping. I drink tea and diet coke like I drink water. I am more sarcastic then serious. I am full of random facts and dont know what to do with them all. I would eat nutritional yeast popcorn everyday for the rest of my life, given the chance. I procrastinate like no other. I like Trinh T. Minh-Ha's idea of the self being like an onion...layer upon layer but in the end, when you get to what is supposed to be the center, the essence, there is nothing. I might spend the rest of my life searching for the meaning in life..but as of now I think it's happiness and being kind to one another. I like romance, flowers, and long walks on the beach. I lied. I hate walking. |
