Introduction I love to quilt but there are other things in life! Oh this is so true of my life. When the seasons of Spring and Autumn are with us I just cant help but want to get out into the garden and work all day. But we all know when we have a family at home our gardening and stitching can get pushed to the side. I have a love for "Yuwa" fabrics and their soft enchanting feelings that they evoke. At the same time those reproduction and civil war fabrics also fuel the desire to create a different quilt altogether. I have been quilting now for 15 years and really "Do my own thing". I design, make my own samples, market, write and sell my own patterns both on the web, at small and large quilt shows and private groups. This I find allows me to meet new people and make new friends. Applique is my favourite method and I like to use the English method and needle turn with freezer paper on the wrong side of the fabric. I find that this gives a really defined edge to my pieces. I live on the beautiful central coast of NSW here in Australia in a rural area with my husband and two children.
Interests quilting, gardening, karate, kickboxing, family and good friends.
