| Introduction | I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, Florida. I graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, focusing on theater. I graduated college with my Master's in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University in 1999. This is my 15th year teaching, and my 9th year at Neptune Beach Elementary. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I was also a Reading Coach and a School Instructional Coach. I am so happy to be back in the classroom, and I'm excited for the challenge of 3rd grade. My husband John and I spend our free time chasing after our children. We have a 7 year old, Samantha, who is a 2nd grader here at Neptune Beach Elementary. We also have a little boy, Dash, who just turned 3 and is constantly on the go. We recently adopted a Australian Shepherd mix named Perdy. I love reading, cooking, painting, and watching movies. I've love making ice cream and jam. I am always open to learning new things. I'm an amateur gardener. I love growing food that I can cook! |
