| Favorite books | "Wild Swans" by Jung Chang follows the lives of Jung Chang, her mother, and her grandmother in China. It is very interesting to see what the lives of these women were like starting in the warlord era up to the 1980s. "West with the Night" by Berl Markham is about her life in Africa. Wonderfully written, it is one of my all time favorite books. "The Goose Girl" by Shannon Hale is a version of the children's fairytale of the same name. I loved this book and have since read everything else that Hale has written. |
