| Introduction | Families are being victimized by the abusive misuse of the ex parte process in custody cases. An ex parte can be acquired with no proof of a parent being abusive or neglectful...nothing that justifies removing any child, much less in an emergency situation - just accusations by someone with alot to gain. The charges can be something as simple as having tattoos or letting the children meet a gay friend. Even more amazing the court does NO background check on the accuser. The accuser can have a previous arrest record for domestic violence or serious mental health issues or just be vendictive. Ex Parte is so devastating & humiliating that it emotionally debilitates the accused with shame & loss. We are going to try to change this dirty little secret, used by family lawyers to line their pockets with money usually received from a parent bent more on revenge or avoiding child support than protecting any child. |
