Introduction	Steve is a Wirralian & a Tranmere Rovers supporter. He is a Biochemist & an expert on Science & the Vikings. He has an Oxford DSc & is a Knight of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit. He has authored the following books on the Vikings: "Science & the Vikings", "Ingimund's Saga: Viking Wirral", "Viking Mersey" & "Viking Tranmere" and co-authored "Viking DNA: The Wirral & West Lancashire Project" (with Turi King and Mark Jobling). "Wirral and its Viking Heritage" (with Paul Cavill & Judith Jesch), and "Vikingblod" (in Norwegian, with Stig Vaagan). He runs the blog with his friend Sue Bishop!
