Introduction	I am currently an at home mom of 2, both under the age of 2 and no they are not twins. My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Henry, in 08 and then our son Phip in 09. I say I am currently an at home mom as I am a product of the recession and corporate downsizing. Can't say I was heartbroken but I can say I have gotten schoold in the art of parenting. I have been looking for a job for an entire year now enjoying nearly every minute with my daughter and now my son as well. I say enjoying nearly every minute as any at home parent knows there are daily frustrations associated with this job. I do believe being an at home mom is the most difficult thing I have ever done, and that includes giving birth twice. I call this blog "I am a Supermom" because I feel every mom who is active in their child's life is a Supermom. Having a child is not hard - physically not fun - but playing an active motherly role in your child's life day in and day out is hard. June Cleaver didn't prepare me for this.... NOTHING prepared me for this. Every accomplishment no matter how big or small is to me the act of a Supermom. This is a collection of my thoughts, concerns, and everyday life as a mom.
