| Introduction | I'm a daydreaming, easily distracted underachiever who wishes I had the answers to the world's problems ... but I'm basically content. I grew up in Detroit and lived in Mich. all my life till moving to Calif. in 2007, because my daughter was expecting twins. I then retired (except babysitting). My jobs had been at newspapers (writing, ad makeup) and a printing company. In Mich. I was active in recycling and am still passionate about it. I also performed in local theater. Here in Calif. I take heart from Bertrand Russell: "The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time." P.S. I've been a widow since 1998 and like living alone. I'm a mainline Christian who has many doubts, but I believe for certain that we all worship the same god. |

| Favorite movies | Paper Moon, Showboat, Disney's Peter Pan, White Christmas, Wizard of Oz, Streetcar Named Desire, Dirty Dancing, School of Rock. I'm not a movie buff however, which this eclectic list may indicate. |
