| Introduction | I'm a returned undergraduate student finally taking the advice of darn near everyone and pursuing something I love instead of a paycheck, though in a manner which I expect to earn my keep and contribute to the knowledge base of humans. My science inspirations are Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman, Bill Nye, Stephen Hawking, and many others. Sagan for his wild dreams for his true love: life. Feynman for his willingness to play the fool while striving to spread knowledge. Nye for his lighthearted approach and brilliant skill in breaking down gregarious "science" into what it should be: fun and thought provoking. And Hawking, for saying, "Like hell I'm dying!" and not wasting his beautiful mind, but contributing more to the human knowledge base than most can ever dream. We humans are temporary meat. We're making a lot of bad decisions and really wrecking this bubble we're chained to called Earth. We are the emissaries of life, and if life is going to outlive this planet, it's up to us. I intend to be sure that this experiment called life is not an isolated and failed blip in a universe so vast. |
