| Introduction | I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling, quilting, do whatever I want for the most part (except for that nagging housework!) mom. My husband works hard to give me that freedom. In my previous life I was a Physical Therapist in OKC. There is little I miss about that life especially post-child. Taking her to daycare and being supermom just wasn't for me. I hated leaving her!! I'm one of those semi-natural moms who nursed forever, used cloth diapers, and focused on natural remedies for childhood ailments. Thankfully my husband was on board for all of this so I didn't have to fight for my way of thinking. I never take my freedom for granted and so appreciate the support of my husband! My daughter is almost 11 now and she's a joy! She loves dancing and takes classes 4 nights a week at a local studio. She also loves Club Penguin...an online game for kids. She thrives in our world, not in school and learning all the time naturally and at her own pace. I don't shove schoolwork down her throat every day; I trust that she will learn and she does. So many questions and so many varied interests. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a bunny to keep us busy. Life is Good!! |
