| Introduction | Welcome to The Hydeout! Thanks so much for dropping by. Most days I can be found sitting in front of my computer editing romance novels (which is what I do for a living), but in my free time what I really love to do is find new ways to make my house feel...well...more homey. I'm not talking major renovations or anything too labor or cost intensive, just playing around with the decor and working on simple projects that add that personal, handmade touch to the living space. My style is pretty much the opposite of minimalist hotel room chic (not that there's anything wrong with that :)). I like stuff...and I like a home that reflects the homeowner's personality. In this space you'll find examples of my personal decorating style, including photos of my own house and things that inspire me.
