| Introduction | I'm an Argentinian biologist, working full-time in research and teaching. I live some 18 km West of downtown Bariloche, a scenic small city by the Andes, in Patagonia. While I strongly believe in the development of science as the best way for humankind's survival, I cannot but feel that often, we (scientist), forget about the intrinsic value of the "social component" in our lives. Politics, religions, history, culture, the arts,...all strongly shape our decisions and thoughts. |
