Stange that you can find "yourself" within a virtual world. In real life we hide behind personas and the need to "fit in." The mask we wear is one we hide behind. Within SL the "mask," we wear, our avatar, should be a reflection of who we are, instead of who society thinks we should be. It's our opporunity to wear a mask that reveals instead of conceals. I believe in the human spirit... in the heart and soul inside of us all. We are one community, a collective of energy and the divine, and whether we choose to be a part of that or spurn the nature of the human existence... defines us as individuals. |
